In January 2022, Greg Howard and I discussed his new YA book, "The Visitors". A fantastic book that is led by a young gay character named Will Perkins. In this novel, homosexuality, homophobia, slavery, love for a grandparent are all featured with elements of mystery and suspense.
The old English teacher in me wanted to hear about the book through the words of someone in the age group this book is intended for. Enter Kade Pich who may not know it, but will be a future leader in our Rainbow community. They are learning more about themself everyday and in this discussion, astutely connected 'The Visitors' to their own life.
